Last Breath: A Story About Life on the Mountain
February 29, 2020
'Story' has long been the way that information was passed from one generation to the next. For centuries, humans sat around a fire and told stories at night to teach lessons, pass the time, and keep the kids from getting eaten by the Saber Cat. Frankly, it's just in our blood as humans to appreciate a good story.
That's why - on this episode - I'm just reading you all a story that I once wrote. It's one that just makes us appreciate life in wild places.
This was originally published in WILD SHEEP magazine, the official publication of the Wild Sheep Foundation.
It was republished digitally in The Journal of Mountain Hunting.
Enjoy.
